Explain it clearly, even without your notes
Bring your notes. Explain them out loud. See which parts didn't make it into what you said.
How a session goes
- Your notes become a brief. Paste them or pick a PDF. The app picks the 6 to 12 ideas your talk can't do without, each linked to the sentence it came from. You edit the list and mark what matters.
- You explain one part out loud. The iPhone records you and turns it into text on the phone. Fix anything it misheard, or type instead.
- You see what came across. One thing that worked, the one idea a listener would have missed, and where your notes say it.
- The next round aims at the gap, then changes the angle: 45 seconds, someone from outside your team, or start with the conclusion. Remembering a sentence won't carry you through all three.
One round, from the sample
We put a queue between checkout and payments. Orders now wait in the queue during a spike instead of failing, and the queue absorbs bursts of up to 5,000 orders a minute.
So in the spring sale traffic went way up and some orders failed, about two percent of them timed out. We added a queue and now it is faster and it handles more load.
Covered 1 of 2 points, 1 partly. You opened with the real problem and its number. Add next: why orders can wait safely during a spike instead of failing.
When traffic jumps, the order goes into the queue and waits there instead of failing. The queue can hold bursts of around five thousand orders a minute, and then payments catch up.
Covered. The next round asks for the same idea, explained to someone from the finance team.
What it checks, and what it leaves alone
- It checks your answer against your notes, in your words or any words. It doesn't fact-check your notes against the world.
- It counts points covered in a round, like 4 of 6. There's no score out of 100.
- It ignores accent, grammar and filler words. A short answer that gets the idea across counts as covered.
- "Not in this answer" means a listener wouldn't have heard it this time. Mark any check as wrong and your correction counts.
A cue card at the end
An opening line, your sections with a transition for each, the numbers that matter and how you'll close, as short fragments to glance at while you talk. Edit it, share it or print it on one page. It works offline.
Your notes
Recordings stay on your iPhone and are transcribed there. The text of your notes and answers goes to Anthropic's Claude through Cloudflare to build the brief and the feedback, and isn't used to train models. Delete a project, or everything, from the app at any time.
Price
Your first brief and three rounds of feedback are free. A practice pack is $9.99 for 30 rounds of feedback and 3 new briefs. Packs add up and stay with your Apple Account on your iPhone and iPad. No subscription.
